What you will be doing
You will continue to develop meinGPT with React on the frontend and TypeScript on the backend - while paying attention to clean UX and code quality
You conduct code reviews and support your junior colleagues in growing beyond themselves
You create testing concepts and tests to maintain the quality of our system
You make technology decisions and design the technical architecture
You implement DevOps principles and create/maintain CI/CD pipelines for our Kubernetes hosting
Bonus: You help coordinate a seven-person development team and further develop our Dev process
During your time with us, you will primarily work with our CTO Matthias.
What you bring along
You have 3-5 years of experience in full stack development with JavaScript / TypeScript (preferably also as a working student).
You have a completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
You have been involved in strategic technology decisions in previous projects.
You live in Germany and have a German work permit.
Bonus: You have mentored a working student / a junior dev in the team.
Technical Skills
You are a React expert and apply it confidently for responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
APIs are your playground: you design and implement them proficiently with TypeScript.
PostgreSQL and SQL are familiar technologies to you in the database domain.
You make well-informed decisions when selecting tools and frameworks - and can assess the long-term consequences of those decisions.
You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and can set them up and maintain them.
Clean code is important to you - and you conduct thorough, constructive code reviews.
Test automation is part of your daily development routine.
You earn bonus points with:
Experience in tRPC, Prisma ORM, Python, and MUI/Joy UI.
Know-how in Kubernetes and container technologies.
