AI Workshop

Our employee Gereon Elvers led an inspiring AI workshop at SelectCode's premises. We were pleased with a fantastic turnout of 16 participants, a mix of team members and ambitious students interested in becoming part of the SelectCode family. Within two hours, Gereon demystified the large language models (LLMs), the technology behind ChatGPT and other language models. He provided us with a pragmatic and practical understanding of this technology that empowers us to navigate the current hype cycle and the blossoming tool landscape with informed perspectives on topics such as agents, embeddings, and quantization. 🤖 But it was not just about theory. We rolled up our sleeves and engaged in a practical group task where we applied what we learned in a real-world context. The energy in the room was electrifying! ⚡️ And what would a workshop be without a little fun? We wrapped up the day with laughter, camaraderie, and of course, delicious pizza. 🍕
