As a software agency, it is difficult to decide which projects to accept and how to best approach a new project. With the following 5 steps, you can be sure that in the end both you as the agency and the client will be satisfied with the project.

If you want to start a software project, you are probably initially overwhelmed by the selection of options. Should I hire someone, hire a freelancer, or outsource the project to an agency?
In this post, we will show you how easy it is to start a new software project with us as an agency. We always strive to keep the process lightweight and flexible, to realize your project as quickly and straightforwardly as possible.
1. Get in touch
Every new project with us starts with a "Hi, how are you? Nice to meet you". So feel free to get in touch with us, preferably just via LinkedIn or email. In about 30 minutes over a virtual coffee, we will discuss the rough details about us and what idea you have. The whole thing is, of course, 100% non-binding.
2. Team & Work Fit
We pay great attention to ensuring there is a good fit between your team and ours in our software projects. This is best determined through a personal meeting. You can often see very quickly whether the teams also get along well on a personal level, and based on our experience, projects run significantly better then.
Moreover, it's very important that our working methods harmonize well with each other. We are happy to show you our agile and lightweight working method, which ensures you have maximum output for your project, and we build your idea exactly as you envision it.
We also enjoy getting involved in your idea and brainstorming with you to develop the next unicorn.
3. Determine MVP
To ensure the best possible experience for the end customer, we will jointly determine the MVP with you in a workshop. We advise you with our professional know-how and assist you in identifying the most important features. This means that we will initially focus on 1-2 features at the beginning. This way, you can quickly start testing and find out if your idea fundamentally works. Usually, you can expect an investment of between 5 – 15k Euros here.
4. Project KickOff and MVP Development
We will jointly start the project with a team kickoff to introduce your developers for the project. Then we will move on to development. There, you will be kept updated with our SelectProject portal and will have insights into the project status at any time.
5. Feedback and Further Engagement
After the MVP development, the result will be presented to you, and we will discuss your feedback together. If you are satisfied with the rapid development, we will seamlessly transition into our agile sprint model.
